Dun & Bradstreet Partners with Anthropic to Automate Corporate Onboarding

Dun & Bradstreet has announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic to integrate its massive Commercial Graph™ directly into the Claude AI ecosystem, aiming to revolutionize how regulated industries handle risk and compliance.

By utilizing the Model Context Protocol (MCP), businesses can now build customized KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) workflows that operate in minutes rather than days. This integration allows Claude to access verified business identities anchored by the global D-U-N-S® Number, providing the necessary context for the AI to reason through complex ownership structures and risk profiles with the precision required for high-stakes financial environments.

The partnership represents a fundamental shift toward "agentic" systems where AI doesn't merely summarize data but actively manages entire workflows. Financial institutions can now deploy automated agents within Claude to verify new corporate clients in seconds, screening for risk and generating audit-ready documentation automatically. According to Alex Zuck, General Manager of Risk at Dun & Bradstreet, this move gives Claude the decision logic and verified context needed to produce explainable and consistent outputs, ensuring that automation does not come at the cost of governance or regulatory accountability.

Beyond simple identity verification, the integration enables enterprises to evaluate global supplier exposure and automate real-time risk intelligence. By bridging the gap between natural language processing and structured corporate data, the collaboration allows organizations to move away from manual case management and siloed tools. This approach signals a new era for enterprise knowledge work, where AI systems operate with deep, verified enterprise context to execute complex regulatory tasks while maintaining a transparent and auditable trail for compliance officers.
