IBM Integrates CUBE’s Global Regulatory Intelligence into watsonx.governance for AI Horizon Scanning

CUBE has announced a new collaboration with IBM that embeds its global regulatory intelligence directly into IBM watsonx.governance, enabling enterprises to continuously track regulatory developments affecting their AI systems across jurisdictions worldwide.

The integration introduces a new Regulatory Horizon Scanning capability within watsonx.governance. As organizations accelerate adoption of generative and agentic AI, regulatory expectations are evolving rapidly, with frameworks emerging from the EU's AI Act to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. CUBE's intelligence will automatically monitor authoritative sources — including regulators, legislative bodies, standards organizations, and industry associations — and surface relevant updates inside watsonx.governance.

By centralizing global regulatory signals within existing governance workflows, the integration allows governance, risk, and compliance teams to map new requirements to specific AI use cases, assess potential impact, and maintain a traceable record of how regulatory changes were evaluated and addressed. The capability is supported by CUBE's network of regulatory and legal experts and its extensive regulatory data coverage, giving watsonx.governance customers added confidence in the intelligence informing their decisions.

London-based CUBE has expanded rapidly through acquisitions and product innovation, now serving clients across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, including many of the world's largest financial institutions. The IBM collaboration follows earlier partnerships with Microsoft and ServiceNow announced this year, marking another milestone in CUBE's growth trajectory.
