What is included in EITF certification packages?
Each EITF certification includes a minimum of 10+ CPE accredited self-paced courses with practical case studies, a set of mock practice questions to help you prepare for the certification exam, one (1) year of free IT CPE Academy membership, and three (3) attempts to pass the online exam. Upon passing the exam, you will attain the Certification Credential.
Can I study on my own?
Yes, all certificates are designed to be a fully self-paced, online programs, accessible with any device, 24/7, from anywhere in the world.
How do I access the study materials?
Upon registration, you will receive immediate access to all study materials and self-paced eLearning lectures.
Is the study guide included in all EITF certification packages?
Yes, each EITF certification package includes the study guide, the exam (with three attempts), and a structured, guided e-learning package that includes video lectures, case studies, and more to help you study at your own pace and prepare for the exam.

Accreditation & CPE recognition
All certificates have been developed by Executive IT Forums, Inc. (Sponsor ID#: 112059) in accordance with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) accreditation standards. Executive IT Forums (EITF) is a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Training programs have been prepared by the IT CPE Academy, the learning management channel for EITF. Each certification syllabus is verified by external subject matter experts and may be accredited by financial regulators and professional bodies for between 15 and 25 CPE credits on the topic of Information Technology.
How many questions are in the exam and what is the pass mark?
The EITF certification exams consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The pass mark is 70%, and you are allowed three attempts to pass the exam. The exam duration is 120 minutes.
How do I attain access to the exam?
You gain access to the exam upon successfully completing all courses within the a specific EITF certification program. The exam can be taken remotely from your own PC or laptop, so you don’t need to travel to an examination center. You can complete the exam at your convenience, from the comfort of your home or office.
Where can I find examples of the certification exam questions?
Each certification program contains a study-guide with 50 practice questions for your reference. Additionally, the online study material includes 10-20 individual CPE-accredited courses, each with its own test and CPE accreditation.
What are the recommended study hours for the completion of EITF certificates?
We recommend between 15 and 25 learning hours for each EITF certification. As these are fully self-paced certification programs, you are expected to define a suitable pace for yourself. However, most of our students tend to complete their training in under three (3) months.
How long is my certification valid, and what are the requirements for maintaining it?
1. Earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits:
Accumulate 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits per year, by completing CPE accredited programs on related subjects in IT.
2. Participate in Renewal Activities:
You can earn CPE credits through a variety of activities, including:
- Completing IT and Cybersecurity-specific training programs: Taking approved online or in-person training courses and webinars that align with certification objectives.
- Level-up certifications: Achieving a higher-level certifications in the same program
3. Certificate Renewal Conditions:
Your certificate will automatically renew for another full year on its expiration date if the following conditions are met:
- You have an active annual membership to the IT CPE Academy, or you have paid the annual CPE maintenance fee of $50 (note: this fee is waived for IT CPE Academy annual members), and
- You have fulfilled the required CPE credits for that year.
- Grace Period: If your certificate's expiration date arrives and you have not met both the conditions, your certification is marked as expired. You will no longer be able to display or claim the certification.
4. Document and Submit Activities:
Submit your earned CPE credits to your IT CPE Academy Profile and track them to maintain your certification status.
5. Level-Up your EITF Certification (Optional):
If you prefer, you can choose to retake and pass the latest version of the any specific EITF certification exam to renew your certification instead of accumulating CPE credits.
By meeting these requirements, you can ensure that your certification remains valid for another year.

Please keep in mind that if you purchase this program outside of our Annual Subscription and do not complete your training programme within the 3-month period, you will have to pay $200 to retake the exam for any additional attempt thereafter. If you are an Annual Subscriber there are no additional fees to retake the exam.
