Identity Governance and Administration
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the policies, processes, and technologies that ensure individuals across an organization have the right access, at the right time, to the right resources—and only for as long as they need it. Participants will learn to distinguish foundational identity and access management practices from the governance layer that adds compliance, oversight, and lifecycle controls. Through real-world examples, the course illustrates how to automate provisioning and deprovisioning by consuming authoritative data sources (such as HR systems and directory attributes), define dynamic role- and attribute-based access policies, enforce robust separation of duties, and embed periodic attestation reviews. Delegation workflows and low-code/no-code integrations are covered to empower business stakeholders with self-service approvals while reducing manual errors. By the end of the program, learners will be equipped to design and implement a scalable, end-to-end IGA solution that mitigates security risks, minimizes excessive permissions, and aligns access controls with both operational efficiency and regulatory requirements.
